Вышла финальная версия foobar2000 v1.6.5! Предыдущая версия: foobar2000 v1.6.4. Версия для Windows XP: foobar2000 v1.5.7.

• Rewritten internal 7-zip support - now opens large files without running out of memory.
• Updated ReplayGain scanner: improved speed, added classic ReplayGain scanning mode as an option.
• Converter now warns about conversion of float32 to integer format, as it is not lossless if the source file isn't peak-normalized.
• "Remove Tags" now retains Apple gapless (iTunSMPB) information on MP3 files.
  Rationale: tag manipulation should not cause the file to decode differently. Opt-out of this behavior in Advancd Preferences.
• Fixed some M4A chapter titles not reading correctly.
• Added support for itunescatalogid for M4A files. (beta 2)
• Fixes for instability from extreme 7-zip reader memory usage. (beta 3, beta 4)
• Fixed a glitch in ReplayGain scanner preferences. (beta 5)

"Remove Tags" now retains Apple gapless (iTunSMPB) information on MP3 files.

Полезное изменение, иногда попадаются такие мп3 - скорее всего конвертируются тунцом или каким-то другим софтом, тесно связанным с яблоком. Компонент Tag Sanitizer также реагирует на это изменение - в 1.6.4 он удаляет iTunSMPB, в 1.6.5 оставляет. Фубар тут даже впереди Mp3tag, который при удалении сразу всех тегов удалит также и эту инфу.
